Owner / Instructor / Friend
Kellie began her fitness journey over 20 years ago. With a background in dance and tumbling she naturally fell in love with Barre. After getting her first barre certification, her passion for connecting classic dance and ballet moves into the fitness arena grew profoundly. Kellie has always been eager to learn more about health, wellness and connecting with inner strength. Her training, knowledge, and passion expanded from there, gaining certifications in TRX, Yoga (200 RYT), Group Fitness (AFAA), Reformer and Mat Pilates through STOTT. After years of instructing, she leaped at the opportunity to own, operate, and build her own studio. Kellie continues to learn and loves to help others achieve their health and wellness goals. If she isn’t at the studio she is trying to keep up with her two daughters and loves spending time with her husband in the great
outdoors.
Our Instructors

Natalie
Natalie became a member of the Align team in 2020. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2019 with a BFA in Modern Dance and a minor in nutrition. Natalie is a certified event coordinator and the owner of an event planning and decorating company, Life is a Party. When she’s not teaching or planning parties, Natalie loves being outside, crafting, and eating yummy food.

Kim
Kim is an Arizona native and trained in classical ballet. After dancing professionally she became a mechanical engineer and has worked in aerospace for the last 20 years. She discovered barre five years ago as a great way to keep motivated to stay healthy and active through the combination of dance and fitness. In her spare time she enjoys baking, sipping tea and playing with her pup.

Mari
Mari is a Utah native, mother of 3, and a hairless cat mom to Walter. She has been teaching group fitness classes (barre & Indoor cycle) for over 3 years. She grew up as a competitive dancer and dance teacher. She has worked in business management and marketing in the beauty industry for 9+ years. Mari loves music and having fun! Her class is a mix of EDM, hip-hop, and pop throwbacks. Her energy will convince you to keep pushing yourself to become your best!!

Amanda
Amanda is an adventuring optimist living & building sustainably in SLC, she wants the world to be a better place simply because she exists (and to pet all of the dogs.) She has been practicing yoga for 12 years and teaching for 6. She obtained her RYT from the YogaLoft in Ogden Utah, specializing in Asthanga Vinyasa, trauma-informed, and Yin Yoga. Amanda believes there’s a beautiful balance to be struck in challenging her postures and students, and knowing when to release and let go. She invites her students to find a safe space in their bodies while they work towards connection.

Chelsie
A Salt Lake City native, Chelsie has always enjoyed being active. From playing sports and cheering in high school, to finding her passion at the barre, Chelsie has loved integrating health and fitness into her busy life as a mom. She has a degree from the University of Utah and has worked in the chiropractic industry as well as private education. Chelsie has been a long time client turned instructor and can’t wait to share her passion with everyone who enters the studio.

Taryn
Taryn has had a passion for health and wellness all her life and has been in the industry over 13 years. As a dedicated Xtend Barre Instructor for the last several years, Taryn is always eager to apply her expertise to help clients succeed in their path to wellness. She really loves the classes offered at Align SLC because it’s an enjoyable yet challenging workouts that strengthen and tone the body simultaneously.

Morgan
Morgan is a born and raised East Coaster who made the venture out to Utah after graduating college in 2021. She completed her 200 hour teacher training with Yoga Assets in Salt Lake and has been growing her yoga tribe ever since. In addition to teaching yoga, Morgan teaches elementary school science in the SLC School District. When she’s not on the mat or in the classroom, Morgan enjoys working at her community garden or hiking in the Wasatch.

Power Yoga
This Powerful yoga flow includes a challenging, flowing sequence of poses that cultivates balance, stability, flexibility, and vigor. It offers longer held-poses, specific alignment instructions, and greater awareness of the breath. You will go deeper into and learn more about the postures! Don’t forget your yoga mat!
Surge Fit
Grab your sneakers! Surge Fit is an energizing HIIT workout that intertwines high intensity cardio tracks that spike your heart rate, with hi-rep, targeting weight training tracks that shape ad tone muscles for maximum results!

Yoga Stretch
Pilates Suspension
PSM combines mat and reformer pilates exercises and performs them using TRX straps. Each exercise has a pilates root and is worked progressively. You’ll gain core and overall muscular strength and fluidity of movements. It’s the perfect compliment to your fitness practice!
