They know that the hour you spend with them is your time to align and they will ensure you make the most of every minute! Our team is trained in modifications for injuries and pre and post natal clients. Each one is creative, educated and will have a tough time picking your favorite.

Kellie Van Dyke – Owner / Instructor / Friend

Kellie began her fitness journey over 20 years ago. With a background in dance and tumbling she naturally fell in love with Barre. After getting her first barre certification, her passion for connecting classic dance and ballet moves into the fitness arena grew profoundly. Kellie has always been eager to learn more about health, wellness and connecting with inner strength. Her training, knowledge, and passion expanded from there, gaining certifications in TRX, Yoga (200 RYT), Group Fitness (AFAA) and Mat Pilates. After years of instructing, she leaped at the opportunity to own, operate, and build her own studio. Kellie continues to learn and loves to help others achieve their health and wellness goals. If she isn’t at the studio she is trying to keep up with her two daughters and loves spending time with her husband in the great outdoors.

With 6 sisters who all danced and cheered, Allison has loved movement as long as she can remember. In college, Allison channeled that passion into instruction and has been teaching since 2004. She is a certified Personal Trainer through NCSF and is both ACE and AFAA Group Fitness Certified. By combining two of her loves, Pilates and dance, Allison knew she had struck gold when she found Align and Barre, where time flies and results come quickly.

Taryn has had a passion for health and wellness all her life and has been in the industry over 13 years. As a dedicated Xtend Barre Instructor for the last several years, Taryn is always eager to apply her expertise to help clients succeed in their path to wellness. She really loves the classes offered at Align SLC because it’s an enjoyable yet challenging workouts that strengthen and tone the body simultaneously.

A Salt Lake City native, Chelsie has always enjoyed being active. From playing sports and cheering in high school, to finding her passion at the barre, Chelsie has loved integrating health and fitness into her busy life as a mom. She has a degree from the University of Utah and has worked in the chiropractic industry as well as private education. Chelsie has been a long time client turned instructor and can’t wait to share her passion with everyone who enters the studio.

Kim is an Arizona native and trained in classical ballet.  After dancing professionally she became a mechanical engineer and has worked in aerospace for the last 20 years.  She discovered barre five years ago as a great way to keep motivated to stay healthy and active through the combination of dance and fitness. In her spare time she enjoys baking, sipping tea and playing with her pup.

An LA-based movement instructor for the last 10 years, Sierra moved to SLC and found community at AlignSLC. Sierra’s classes focus on building strength and mobility. She helps clients get into their bodies by curating classes that are challenging yet accessible. Always seeking to add modalities to her repertoire, Sierra took the barre training at Align SLC in 2020.

Primarily raised on the North Shore of Oahu, Marie has grown up with a love for the outdoors. She participated in dance, cheer and a variety of sports over the years, realizing keeping in shape is key to what she loves to do. Formerly an aerobic and circuit Instructor, she was introduced to BarreIn 2010. Since 2014, she’s certified through the Xtend Barre repetoire and has been enjoying teaching and taking classes when she’s not spending time with her husband Dan, two fun loving kids and their dog “Bark Ruffalo”

Natalie became a member of the Align team in 2020. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2019 with a BFA in Modern Dance and a minor in nutrition. Natalie is a certified event coordinator and the owner of an event planning and decorating company, Life is a Party. When she’s not teaching or planning parties, Natalie loves being outside, crafting, and eating yummy food.

A Salt Lake City native, Tillie fell in love with dance fitness during her 4-year stint in Washington, DC. Now certified through 305 Fitness, Tillie teaches a high-energy dance cardio class with accessible and engaging choreography. You’ll leave feeling strong and confident, plus you will have so much fun, you’ll barely realize you’re breaking a sweat!

From Salt Lake City, Trayven is both a performing artist and Group Fitness/ Yoga Instructor. He currently shakes his booty across the Wasatch Front teaching Zumba, Barre, Yoga, and other fitness related activities! He is a devote yogi practicing and facilitating all the variations of yoga I possibly can ranging from Ashtanga, Flow, Hatha, Hot, Yin, Nidra, Sound, Arial and Laughter Yoga.

Kate grew up in SLC but has been in the Bay Area working in tech for the last 5 years. She recently moved back to Salt Lake and is so excited to be home. Kate studied ballet growing up and she certified as a barre instructor in 2015. For the last 6 years, she has enjoyed teaching challenging workouts designed to strengthen every muscle group, improve posture and flexibility, and leave clients of all activity levels feeling both worked and empowered. In her free time, Kate enjoys running, going to concerts and music festivals, and spending time with dogs. 

Amanda image


Amanda is an adventuring optimist living & building sustainably in Salt Lake City, she wants the world to be a better place simply because she exists (and to pet all of the dogs.) She has been practicing yoga for 12 years and teaching for 6. She obtained her RYT from the YogaLoft in Ogden Utah, specializing in Asthanga Vinyasa, trauma-informed, and Yin Yoga. Amanda believes there’s a beautiful balance to be struck in challenging her postures and students, and knowing when to release and let go.  She invites her students to find a safe space in their bodies while they work towards connection.

Paige became RYT certified through Yoga Alliance upon completion of her first 200-hour training in Vinyasa Yoga.  Following this training, she completed another 200-hour training in Yin Yoga, and eventually went on to become certified in Special Needs Yoga. Aside from these styles, her teaching experience and training also incorporates Meditation, Breath-work and Restorative postures. She is inspired by the teachings of Yogi Bhajan, the rhythms of the universe, mother nature and LOVE. When not teaching, she enjoys music, painting, writing poetry, exploring the world with family, being outdoors, snowboarding, reading and gardening.

Tayler Brown

Tayler has been teaching yoga for 3 years. She is also trained in therapeutic yoga. Mental health is very important and she brings that and a little bit of self love into all of her classes. Every class she teaches challenges you mentally and physically and uses the breath to help get you through! Outside of yoga Tayler loves to paddle board, travel, and spend time with her friends and family! She is so excited to be apart of Align and bring the gift of yoga to the awesome people of Salt Lake!
